No one has had time to ask any questions yet, so I'm just going to take this chance to tell the story of my webpage. Some of you may remember my personal webpage Amethyst's Hub, which was eaten by a WORM back in 2005. In 2003 it started out as a book review site for my friends and family. At the time I asked that no one link to it from anywhere else, but even so it became very popular. I was reviewing a lot of books with subjects that most people weren't familiar with, and so I got a lot of questions. I started trying to link to other websites to explain concepts to my visitors, but noticed how hard it is to find internet sites that explain things even somewhat objectively. That's when I started adding articles and conspiacy theory reviews. I did my best to cite references to books, and to cover both sides off the story. I did keep backups of the Hub, so when it was wiped out I could have restored it with minimal loss of content, but I didn't want to put it back the way it was. I felt that my skills had grown and I wanted to start fresh. At the time I was employed full-time so finding the time to build a completely new webpage was not easy. Then I moved two-thousand miles, and a lot of other things happened. Long story short, I suddenly found myself with time to spare. I'm taking this opportunity to create something even better.
